Minutes for NCFSDC Meeting
February 19, 2011

Meeting was called to order.

Thanks to Jerry Fairchild for organizing today’s event at the Villages Car Show. We had a great showing of Studebakers. Maybe the most Studebakers that have even been there. There were tons of other cars too, but who noticed!

March 5th meeting at Don Garlits’ Museum was discussed. Our club is providing meat, buns, condiments and paper products. Everyone invited is encouraged to bring a dish to pass plus their drinks. Jerry Fairchild will bring the grill. Need head count from the other chapters we invited. The Garlits’ Museum will give us a group discount for 10 or more people to get into the museum.

Another great event is happening on March 5th, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, Larry McDaniel, Motivator 1 and Team Florida are hosting a fundraising event to support youth recreational activities. Their First Annual Car Show. There will be food and prizes. Registration is $10.00 per car. Barbeque by Murray will be available for purchase. NFL Personalities are expected. It is to be held at the PK Yonge Gymnasium in Gainesville. If you want anymore information, contact Larry McDaniel. Hopefully we can figure out a way to support this event and our meeting at the Garlits’ Museum.

We had a guest at our meeting today…Frank Pritchard who brought his 1955 Commander.
