| NCFSDC Meeting Minutes April 18, 2009 Thanks to Steve for hosting this months Studebaker meeting Thanks to Ronnie Williams & Jerry Fairchild for cooking Thanks to Gerald & Sue & Derwood for cleaning up the shop area And Thanks to everyone else who helped out. Old Business: Bank statement is same as last month – no changes State Meet (Oct 30 – 31st) – Orva received one registration so far Martha is getting 1,000 post cards to send out for the State Meet. She has already received address labels for all Studebaker people in Florida, Georgia, Alabama & South Carolina that are on the SDC list - about 893 people. Registration starts on July 1st, Martha will mail out “save the date” post cards on May 1st Need a saying for our state meet (send to Danny if you have any ideas) – Halloween Theme – all members try to wear a costume Need ideas for shirts – John came up with using calliope and putting Halloween theme on it – Mary Cade came up with using black 1956 Flight Hawk – Darth Vader with orange and black shirt Spooky Baker! Spooky Night! We need a title for our shirts We need donation for door prizes, can give to Martha to hold. Our web site is updated with all the information about the State Meet and club news The password has been changed – contact Danny (352) 278-8855 for the new password to see member’s names and address. New business: Next Saturday in Lake Helen – car show April 25 Mother’s Day weekend – car show in GA for details call John Meinelt (386) 734-1912 Steve working on fund raiser for wounded Vet’s (WWII through the present) The fund raiser will be in late August or September 2009 - more details later The May meeting in Waldo has been cancelled. June 6th meeting will be held at Ronda & Michael Scarabino’s house – Pig Roast, bring a side dish or dessert |
